The Center for Civic Initiatives, or CEHRIN for short, is an independent non-governmental organization that, since 2010, has focused on the most important level of democracy—the local level. This is where the intersection of government and community occurs. This is where the quality of life is shaped, a space of trust is created, and decisions are made that directly affect people's quality of life. This is where the intersection of power and community takes place. It is at this level that the quality of life is formed, a space of trust is created, and decisions are made that directly affect the quality of human life.

Our focus covers national institutions and local self-government bodies (LSG). At the community level, we work with civil society organizations, local leaders, youth, and residents.
