For the Center for Civic Initiatives NGO, transparency is not a requirement, but our internal standard. That is why we initiated an external independent financial audit. And we are happy to report that we have successfully passed it!
The audit was conducted by UHY Prostir Ukraine in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA), which is global practice.
This means that:
- Our financial processes are transparent and reliable.
- Every hryvnia of donor support is used effectively and strictly for its intended purpose.
For CEHRIN, this is not a formality, but a test of managerial maturity and responsibility. We are demonstrating that the Ukrainian civil sector can and must operate according to the highest European standards of accountability.
The path to Europe is not only about politics, but also about a culture of transparency! We are systematically developing these practices and starting with ourselves so that financial transparency becomes the norm for all Ukrainian civil society organizations.
